Financial Aid

Treasureland Preschool provides discounted tuition for children enrolled in our learning community.  We are committed to making preschool accessible to families with differing economic situations.

Treasureland Preschool offers three sources of financial assistance, depending on the age of your child.

1) Colorado Universal Preschool Program

We partner with the Colorado Universal Preschool Program (UPK) to provide 15 hours of state-funded pre-k in the year before students are eligible for kindergarten. This means that Treasureland families in our pre-k program only pay 25% of monthly tuition. Families can apply for UPK using the application portal for families and selecting Treasureland Preschool as your first choice. Children who are enrolled in our three-year-old classroom have priority placement with us to continue their care at our preschool. Children are matched with our center by the state and local coordinating agency.

2) dENVER pRESCHOOL program

Treasureland Preschool is a Denver Preschool Program (DPP) provider.  The DPP program offers tuition assistance in some amount to all applicants in the year before students are eligible for kindergarten and who reside in the city and county of Denver. Some children who will turn 3 on or before October 1 of the current school year are also eligible for DPP funding.

You must apply for DPP tuition assistance before being considered for additional financial assistance through Treasureland Preschool. See their website at www.dpp.org for more information and applications for their tuition assistance program.

3) Scholarships

Scholarships are offered through Treasureland Preschool for families with children enrolled in all programs. This assistance is offered to families who don’t qualify for the Denver Preschool Program or to those needing assistance beyond what DPP offers. Please contact Mindy Tipton, or call 303.758.0362 for information and applications.
